Homework

There is a thing teachers give,
Ought to help you organize.
It is homework, my friend,
That will last as long as you live.

Homework of all sorts,
To be completed on Sunday.
When we complain about it,
The teachers say ,”you have a weekend for a day!”

Homework for Hindi, English and History,
To complete by the weekend.
By all this pressure,
It will probably be my end.

Homework, Homework, Homework,
It is all that teachers say,
If this the state at 7th
Imagine at 12th grade!

Qualities that can change the world

Sympathy, Empathy and Compassion,
Life is a bliss,
The world need these not less than any fraction,
What can we say about this?

Fate in our hands.
Power, so strong,
To create or destroy,
It won't be too long,

When we realize,
The future change and so can we,
We won't think twice,
on what we get to be..

Life so short,
It is breakable, it can be taken away,
the poverty that rises,
with people walking stray.

Why don't we change the world,
For the better, not worse.
Humanitarian issues like intolerance keep rising,
But can take a steep fall.

Why don't we be generous, be kind,
Future so close, yet so far.
Small contributions are more than enough,
Hopefully you all won't mind!

Family

There is a thing that people say,
That lasts longer than time.
We all think it the same way.
It is the family that last for a longtime.

The moments spent by family,
Is ought to be spent with happiness and splendor.
Family dearer than money,
Is what will last forever.

Dimes and nickels that people spend,
Will not always remain their true friend.
Family are those people who you can talk to.
Whenever you are feeling blue.

Family is granted to those fortunate,
Who are the apple of eye of god.
For those who are orphans living life with no love,
They are what generations call misfortunate.

Mother Nature

You gave us winds,
that we used to follow your trail.
Boats we made,
To follow you without fail.

You kept the atmosphere,
In the Goldilocks zone.
We drunk in arrogance,
Made us sit on the throne.

We cut down your trees,
What you beautifully made.

All so magnificent lost.
As you creations began to fade.

You made floods.
That destroyed our lands.
You made storms,
That broke us down into strands.

Oh Mother Nature,
The world is not looking back,
On what you had to face,
This is the very humanity that us humans lack.

The pain you must of gone through,
To see your lovely creations destroyed.
Overthrown by your competitive children.
Oh, what have you bestowed!

Pain

Pain a condition,
That has haunted medicine and science,
Scientist go crazy thinking about this,
What else can go wrong.

It can drive a man hysterical,
maybe even mad
It strikes you like an arrow,
bearable not even for the strongest lad.

It can come in many ways,
Headache, ulcers & cramps,
It can be just a second,
or can last for days.

So why not a life of no pain?
luxury happiness & relaxation!
There would be nothing else to gain
now we wish we wish there was some kind of potion.

So my friends, we will have pain as long as we leave,
Until we become invincible,
so let us go with the flow
and become compatible.

Life a bargain,
Full of misery and joy,
There is no loss or gain
We are the warriors.

Pain includes a game of war,
Our responses flickering
Our brain confused,
Preventing us from enjoying.

What is the use of such a life,
Full of disappointment and sorrow,
Ah! Im tired.,
Let's continue tomorrow.

Mother

She, the image of perfection,
So determined, you don't need to mention,
Come with a problem, she has a solution,
She is the one!

Life is incomplete without her,
So blank without her laugh ,

Without her is a pain to bear,
So huge for any child.

We tend to understand the pain,
when we lose her,
No one can live without you,
Oh! dear mother.

We may be in trouble,
Or break your trust,
But one thing we can confirm,
You will always be there for us.

Oh it is the mother my friends,
who can turn hatred to love,
She brings us up with so much love and affection,
She is a gift from up above.
